Diagnostic Tests
A blood test analyzes the information present in the blood, allowing the observation of diverse states including the diagnosis of various diseases, prognosis of treatment, and follow-up. Blood, as the fundamental component of the body, allows to assess overall health condition and is commonly utilized as a basic test due to its simple collection method.
Hematology Tests
By analyzing the information of blood cells in the blood, it checks the health condition of the blood cells.
Blood Chemistry Tests
By analyzing the information of serum components in the blood, it checks the health condition of various organs.
Urinalysis
Through the physical and chemical examination of urine, it checks for urinary system disorders, endocrine disorders, metabolic disorders, and more.
Endocrinology Tests
It checks the hormones that regulate physiological functions, including hormone metabolism.
Other Tests
Other tests are used to differentiate conditions such as tumors, inflammation, and immune-mediated diseases. In addition to confirming diseases, these tests also analyze changes in genetic or protein levels to identify the causes of diseases or infectious agents. They also provide directions for effective treatment tailored to individual patients.
Histopathology
Samples of tissues where the disease has occurred or is suspected to have occurred are excised and diagnosed based on microscopic observation.
Cytology
Cells from the lesion where the disease has occurred or is suspected to have occurred are aspirated and diagnosed based on cytological findings.
Infectious Disease Tests
After extracting nucleic acids (DNA, RNA) from the sample, PCR amplification is performed to determine the presence of infectious disease.
Immunology Tests
The titer of antibodies generated after vaccination is determined. Autoimmune diseases caused by abnormalities in the immune system can be diagnosed.
Allergy Tests
Specific antibodies to antigens that may cause allergic diseases are detected.
Microbiology Tests
Pathogenic microorganisms from specimens are isolated and identified. An antimicrobial susceptibility test is performed for appropriate treatment.
